Core Values
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and is useful as our all-sufficient rule for faith and practice.
(II Timothy 3:16)
We believe in a triune (three in one) God that is experienced in three separate persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that mankind's only hope for redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
(John 14:6)
We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gift of speaking in tongues. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit empowers the Church to be His witnesses on the earth.
(Acts 2:1-4, Acts 1:8)
We believe that divine healing is for today. The power of God is active, able and willing to heal our body, mind and spirit today and it is God's desire to use the Church as a healing agent.
(Matthew 10:7-8)
We believe that God has prepared a place in heaven for those who believe in and follow His Son while on this earth. We also believe that there are consequences for all who turn their back on Christ.
(John 14:1-2, II Corinthians 5:8 and Revelation 20:11-15)
Finally, we believe that Christ gave the church a mission to accomplish while we are on this earth. We are to share God's plan of salvation with the lost in our city, country, and world.
(Acts 1:8)
Pillars of Purpose
WE PURPOSE TO BE MINISTERS OF SALVATION
To reach the lost, then share the good news. To provide an opportunity for confession and a safe place to repent.
(Mark 13:10, Romans 10:14 and Matthew 5:13-14)
WE PURPOSE TO BE MINISTERS OF WHOLENESS
To minister to the whole person; body, mind and spirit.
Life is more than being saved. It's about living abundant and whole. Our passion is to provide people, services and resources to help the church overcome hurts, habits and hang ups.
(John 10:10 and Isaiah 61:1)
WE PURPOSE TO BE MINISTERS OF DISCIPLESHIP
To provide the believer a healthy process of growth in their Christian faith is our desire. Our plan is to raise up and send out mature, faith-filled Christians into this world to do the Lord's bidding.
(Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8 and 2Timothy 3:14-16)
WE PURPOSE TO MINISTER TO PRACTICAL NEEDS OF THE POOR AND NEEDY
To be generous givers to the widow, orphan and the needy among us.
(James 1:27 and Acts 2:45)
