World Missions

At Harvest Valley, we believe it is our obligation and mandate (Mark 16:15, Matthew 9:38) to partner with men and women who are passionate and have a vision for reaching the lost. We realize, as a church, that God has given us a responsibility to identify those who have a calling to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. We want to always ask the question, “God, what role, as a church, do you want us to play in their mission?” It is out of this response that we have created a Missions Department, whose duty it is to simply find, fund and send worthy candidates to the mission field.

Our world view is not limited to the countries or places we understand or can wrap our minds around. We envision a missionary family that reaches into all nations and places. We see ourselves sending missionaries into the remote and Godless places of our world; places that are foreign to the way we live in the States. We desire to send men and women to cultures few are willing to go.

Our vision to support missionaries is not limited to those who minister in foreign lands. We see the value in supporting those who reach the lost and hurting within our own country. America, in the last several decades, has drastically declined as a God-fearing nation. Nationwide, statistics show that only 7% attend Evangelical churches. This statistic tells us that we need revival in America. It tells us that we need to rally behind missionaries that are passionate about reaching the lost and hurting in America.

Outreach

Outreach is just that- the activity or process of bringing information or services to people.

Reaching out to those in need and gathering  those who want to serve.

Our pillar of purpose is to be generous givers to the widow, orphan and the needy among us. (James 1:27, Acts 2:45) developing relationships with them and inviting them in to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Matthew 25:40
